Many people have a lot of questions about tea. Hopefully, today’s write-up will clear many of those.

Answer:

Can you drink tea while losing weight?

Of course you can — if you maintain your weight loss journey properly.

Such as:

Adequate sleep

Drinking enough water

Balanced and moderate meals

Regular exercise

A healthy lifestyle

However, you must keep in mind—

Avoid tea with too much liquor, too much milk, and too much sugar.

Because over-boiling tea leaves in milk destroys their nutrients.

And whatever we consume more, we tend to become addicted to it.

Instead of quitting completely, choose healthier options—

Honey / powdered stevia / light liquor tea.

Can you drink tea/coffee with 1 teaspoon sugar?

If you—

Are maintaining your weight

Exercise regularly

Maintain proper diet and lifestyle

Then you can have 1 teaspoon of sugar in a cup of tea.

If everything is balanced, this one teaspoon of sugar won’t cause any significant harm.

✔️ How many times a day? (Green tea / black coffee / milk tea)

All are caffeinated drinks.

✔️ Ideal: 2 times a day

✔️ Maximum: 3 times (not more than that)

Avoid caffeine after 5 PM because:

It may cause hormonal imbalance

It can disrupt sleep

✔️ Right time to drink tea

Do not drink tea immediately with or after meals

Drink tea at least 30–35 minutes after a heavy meal

You can also drink it 30–35 minutes before meals

Best time:

Between 10 AM – 12 PM

30–35 minutes after an evening snack

❌ Never consume caffeine on an empty stomach after waking up

✔️ How much quantity?

Do not drink large glasses of tea

Instead of a mug, 1 cup is enough

If you do IF (Intermittent Fasting), then—

Light coffee/tea

Diluted with more water

✔️ Is it okay to drink tea 6 days a week?

The body is very intelligent; it adapts to habits.

Just like exercise needs rest days,

Your body also needs breaks from caffeine.

So take 1–2 days off from tea/coffee weekly.
